use 用法详解

1.use意为“用；使用；运用”，单三形式为uses，例如:Sheusesknifetocutapples.她用刀子切水果；过去式为used，如:Tomusedmypenlastnight昨晚汤姆用了我的钢笔；现在分词为using，如:Look,yourmotherisusingnewspoon.看，你妈妈在用新勺子。后跟动词不定式，结构为:使用某物做某事。例如:Youcanusemynewdictionarytolookupthewords.你可以用我的字典查单词。

2.区分usedtodo,beusedtodo与beusedtodoing.

(1)usedtodo意为“曾经”。eg:Iusedtobeateacher,nowIamadoctor.曾经我是老师，现在我是医生。

(2)beusedtodo意为“被用来做某事”。

eg:PencilsareusedtowriteEnglish.铅笔是用来写字的。

(3)beusedtodoing.习惯于做某事；适宜于做某事

eg:Iusedtoliveasmallvillage,butnowIamusedtolivinginbigcitylife.我曾经居住在农村，但现在我习惯大城市的生活。

3.usesthtodo和usesthfordoing的区别：

两者都表示用…做某事,todosth表示目的,fordoingsth表示用途.二者意思基本相同
